Walmart gift cards and Sam’s Club gift cards are interchangeable. Meaning you can use a Walmart gift card at Sam’s Club and a Sam’s Club gift card at Walmart.

NOTE ON USING WALMART PAY APP: Recently, we found out that you cannot use the Walmart Pay app on your smart phone for purchases at Sam’s Club, Walmart fuel pumps, or Murphy USA gas stations. It says so right in their website FAQs. To Gene Grawe Fund members this means that if you purchase a Walmart gift card (Physical, eGift, or Reload) and then transfer that gift card’s balance to your phone’s Walmart Pay account, those funds will no longer be available for purchases at Sam’s Club, Walmart fuel pumps, or Murphy USA gas stations.
